Introduction

Furniture Group is a renowned manufacturer and installer of bespoke joinery. We also specialise in acoustic and veneered/lacquered wall panelling using many different finishes.
Our in-house design team has considerable experience in interiors, furniture and joinery design and technical detailing, providing support to clients, main contractors, architects and interior designers. As a result we can offer quality furniture and joinery ranging from a relatively simple melamine product to the most intricate, high-end, bespoke tailor-made pieces incorporating hand laid veneers, stone, solid surfaces, metalwork, upholstery and glass.
Our highly experienced manufacturing team ensure quality of product and strive to work within set budgets; we also offer value engineered solutions where there are cost constraints to maintain design aesthetics.

Manufacturing Facilities

Furniture Group has extensive manufacturing facilities spread over four separate sites covering, cutting and edging, CNC work, laminating, hand laid veneers, vacuum forming, sanding and spraying, assembly, warehousing, distribution, specialist design and consultancy. Our diverse manufacturing capabilities is reflected in our wide range of specialist machinery encompassing in house veneering to laminated and Melamine product Furniture. Our company has at its disposal various CNC machinery and our finishing shop combined with skilled sprayers enable us to produce excellent finishes in wood veneers, coloured lacquers, stains and coloured back lacquered glass.

Delivery / Installation

Our delivery and installation service is managed in house. This ensures that all products are wrapped well and provided with adequate protection avoiding damage during transit. Our installation team supervisors are all cabinet makers/joiners directly employed by us, who are conscientious and represent not only ourselves but our customers, producing high standard quality fit-outs.

All Furniture Group employees are DBS (Disclosure & Barring Services) checked. All our installation team leaders hold CSCS cards and are directly employed by us.

Service

Through our subsidiary Furniture Group Contracts we offer a full FF&E (furniture, fittings and equipment) service taking into account DDA requirements and providing practical solutions for IT and multimedia working environments. Our services include design consultancy, tender preparation, furniture design, space planning, project management, supply of products and fittings, full installation and fit-outs, and commissioning.

We frequently liaise with architects and builders to provide personal attention, ensuring confidence at every stage of the project.

Export

From time to time we get involved in projects overseas exporting our furniture and expertise. Projects have included The International School, Amsterdam, Netherlands; library installations in Cyprus, Tanzania and Dubai (UAE); residential projects in Spain.
